About Us
Wild Soul Woods CIC blends Forest School principles with therapeutic approaches to deliver sessions that support wellbeing.
Our mission is to create safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces where young people and their families can take physical, creative, social and emotional risks. We support individuals to build personal resilience and increase their sense of wellbeing - whatever their personal challenges may be.

This leads to greater confidence in their usual activities and the ability to ‘bounce back’ after disappointments. Working with families and established groups enables us to model a way of communicating with others that allows emotional literacy to flourish and positive connection to thrive.

We offer sessions both indoors and out - and all include an invite to connect with the natural world in some way. The environmental education that is woven through all sessions nurtures both a sense of stewardship and of belonging. Using examples from the natural world, including seasonal & life cycles, also demonstrates how all living things ebb, flow, change and are taken care of. We show how in many circumstances a ‘growth’ mindset - rather than external events - can change a negative experience into a positive opportunity.

We have evolved organically in response to community need. Initially a small team delivered ‘Tori’s Woodland Adventures’ to children & families in home education groups and afterschool and holiday clubs. We then discovered a real need for our offer within the neurodivergent communities, among children & families unable to access mainstream education, as well as those struggling with anxiety & poor mental health.
We have connected with parents, carers & families as well as isolated individuals of all ages. As our team grows and our mission evolves, we aim to welcome as many diverse and varied community groups and individuals as possible to benefit from our offering.
Our team draws on a huge variety of experience, specialisms and skill sets. Most importantly, we share lived experience and have been on our own journeys. We educated ourselves, trialled strategies and emerged (for the most part!) intact, strong and a little bit wiser...
We’re here to support you on your journey. You are not alone.
